All our buildings are tanalised (pressure treated), tanalising stops the wood from rotting and decay, but it is not a waterproofing treatment!

Garden buildings must be treated with a good oil based treatment as soon as you can after your building has been installed and then at least once a year thereafter.

We and our manufacturer are always researching and testing out treatments so that we can share with you which we find to be the most effective especially in waterproofing your building. We will share any findings with you at the time of sale or when enquiring, as well as via our Facebook page. 😊

No timber building is ever 100% waterproof.
